Just 15 minutes for the first polls to close. Can't wait for the long-legged-mac-daddy Barrack Obama to win!
And now to more mundane things. Today was Day 2 of the kitchen reno. You never realize how important your kitchen is to you till you don't have a functioning one anymore.
We moved the old refrigerator into the mud room and are using a microwave and toaster on top of the washer and dryer as our makeshift kitchen for the next 2 weeks. Breakfasts and toasted sandwiches are doable, but that's about it. Eating out every night FTL!
A pic of one of the two ace contractors: Donny
Looks like a frigging bomb went off but this is what our kitchen looks like sans countertops and appliances.
Waiting for the Miele oven and microwave.
Waiting for the Wolf rangetop.
Sub-zero enclosure being built. Much cleaner crown moulding lines than before.
My car is parked outside and the garage is being used storage of the appliances while the kitchen is being prepped. Check out the Wolf and Sub-zero bling!! Miele ovens and dishwashers too! There's over 30 grand worth of equipment in my parking spot.
